Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the residential electrical questions we hear most often from homeowners in DeLand and across our service area.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all residential electrical projects. We will review your project in person when needed and provide a written quote before any work begins.
Do you handle generators and EV chargers?
Yes. Generator installation and Level 2 EV charger installation are among our most requested services. We handle everything from panel load assessment through final inspection and testing.
Do you work on remodels and new construction?
Yes. We provide full electrical services for kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, and new construction — from rough-in permits through finish wiring and final inspection.
Do you serve areas outside DeLand?
Yes. Our service area covers parts of Volusia, Seminole, Orange, and Flagler counties, including Deltona, DeBary, Orange City, Daytona Beach, Sanford, Lake Mary, Palm Coast, and more. See our full list of service areas.
Are you available for emergency electrical calls?
Yes. We offer 24/7 emergency availability for urgent residential electrical issues. Call us directly if you are dealing with a live problem that cannot wait.
Is your work permitted and inspected?
Yes. We pull all required permits and coordinate inspections for work that requires them. This protects your home, your insurance coverage, and your ability to sell the property in the future.
How do I know if I need a panel upgrade?
Common signs include breakers tripping frequently, lights dimming when appliances start, an older 100A panel, a planned generator or EV charger installation, or a recent real estate inspection flagging panel issues. We assess your panel at no charge as part of an estimate.
What is involved in a whole-home generator installation?
We assess your load requirements, recommend the right generator size, coordinate permitting, install the transfer switch and electrical connections, and complete a startup test. We also coordinate with your gas or propane provider for fuel tie-in.
How long does most residential electrical work take?
Smaller repairs are typically completed same day. Panel upgrades and EV charger installs take four to eight hours. Generator installations usually take one to two days. New construction electrical is staged across the build timeline.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes. We stand behind our workmanship. If a problem is traced back to our installation, we address it. Contact us to discuss specific warranty questions for your project.
